Meet Dez and Dot. The Tempo's official mascots debuted on Tuesday, August 18, at Scotiabank Arena against the Indiana Fever.
Dez is a Borealis Blue snapping turtle from Muskoka. The name comes from the decibel. Calm, clever and always a few steps ahead, Dez spins the 1s and 2s on the side.
Dot is an Arctic hare named for the T-Dot. She brings the energy and the acrobatics, and her hobbies are "hops and hype."
Together they are a new take on the tortoise and the hare: not slow against fast, but steady and swift.
