Kiki Rice is on the Associated Press All-Rookie Team. It is her first AP honour and the first in Tempo history.
Rice started 20 of her 28 games and averaged 13.4 points, fourth among rookies, plus 3.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 27.1 minutes. She shot 47.2% from the field and 35.1% from three.
She closed the season with a career-high 28 points at Connecticut. From August 10 to September 20 she scored in double figures 11 straight games, averaging 16.2 points and 4.7 assists over that run.
On August 10 at Atlanta she became the first rookie in WNBA history to come off the bench with at least 18 points, six assists and zero turnovers.
